Well known forms

I try to catch a feeling of a memory a glance of a future dream and the excitement of being in the now.

Through drawings, collages, performances, personal treasures and stones, I explore the value of memories. What do they look like? How are they arranged in our bodies and in each person's personal memory library? And how does a memory move between the present and the past?

In everyday life, I find objects that deal with time, metamorphosis, touch, wearability and stories. From these I extract forms, materials and colors that I use in my studio and transform into new images. In presentations, artworks, found objects and personal treasures come together; I call them props. The whole forms an archive and becomes a place where the viewer can muse and wander in thoughts and memories. I see my art practice as a hybrid environment in which artworks develop through autonomous making processes and participatory encounters with all kinds of people.
